Lisbeth Bodd of Verdensteatret passed away a week ago. Of all the artistic collaborations I have been fortunate to be a part of, working with Verdensteatret has been one of the most formative for me. I started working with them early on in my career, in the fall of 2000, when the Regla production was turned into an installation for Oslo Open. Subsequently I have been involved in several productions.
There is no end to what I have learned from Verdensteatret regarding collaborative creative processes and how to approach cross-disciplinary projects. These thoughts still form the basis of my working methods. Additional there are all the fond memory of interesting conversations and discussions, friendship, travels, and anecdotes of all sorts. Having known and worked with Lisbeth and the rest of the Verdensteatret collective is one of the great gifts of my life.
