Formatting datetime in Max

I am currently assisting a project where we will need to use Max to interact with a sqlite3 database that is also accessed by a Ruby on Rails application. Initially I was not sure how to formate datetime properly for the created_at and updated_at fields, but a bit of googling on sprintf helped revealing some integer formatting tricks I didn’t know before. Patch below.

Experiencing Voices in Electroacoustic Music

Last week Andreas Bergsland defended his PhD thesis “Experiencing Voices in Electroacoustic Music” at Deptartment of Music, NTNU. The thesis is available from his web page. Some sound examples from the thesis and a csound based instrument, the Six Fantasies Machine, that emulates the sounds from Paul Lansky’s “Six Fantasies on a Poem by Thomas Campion” are also available there.

TC room simulation algorithm structure

Christensen and Lund (1999)¹ (discuss the general architecture or algorithm structure of multi-channel room simulations deployed in a number of TC Electronics products. There seems to be at least some overlap with how Spat is working.
