Karen Kipphoff and Trond Lossius collaborates on a videowork that is to be presented at the ICCI 360 panoramic video festival in Plymouth (UK) September 2010. The work is titled “At the Zoo”. It’s an anthropomorphic composition that uses pattern and montaged, abstract sound based on the French tradition of acousmatic music.
The ICCI 360 Festival arena
The University of Plymouth will be organizing the ICCI 360 festival from Monday 13th to Saturday 18th September 2010. The ICCI 360 Festival arena consists of a huge 21 metre diameter dome incorporating a 62m x 6m high projection screen and a large performance space which uses cutting edge technology with surround sound and high resolution projection facilities to provide a fantastic immersive 360°, panoramic, digital experience.
About the Festival
The ICCI 360 Festival, the first panoramic festival of its kind and an immersive celebration of photography, film, art, music and performance. Located in the Piazza, Plymouth City Centre, the week’s exciting events are experimental, beautiful, funny and inclusive.
